Stainless steel pieces (including gold plated stainless) are waterproof, sweat-proof, and tarnish-resistant — safe for everyday wear including showers, the bath, ocean, and gym. Avoid chlorinated pools, as the chemicals (not the water) can affect the plating over time. After saltwater exposure, rinse with fresh water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
